Maroon and blue segmented cap (reflecting the colours of NSW & Queensland) Embroidered Australia RFL 1909 and a kangaroo and 1909 on the peak. - The cap was made by J. Pearson, King Street Arcade, Sydney. Inside in excellent condition. The outside has some wear on the velvet material. This was a full year for the Australia side; playing New Zealand in 3 Tests, The New Zealand Maori in four and finally The Kangaroos played The Wallabies in a final 3 Test series. Australia and New Zealand played Three Tests in 1909 - At The Agricultural Ground, Sydney, Exhibition Ground, Brisbane and Wentworth park, Sydney. Australia won the series 3 - 0.
These items for sale are surplus to the Easts group requirements and are being offered for sale to Roosters members and collectors of Rugby League history. This is a one off opportunity to procure some very rare items of league memorabilia.
