Black & White photo of the 1932 Australian tour to North America signed by the full side. This team was not an official representative side but the trip, led by Arthur Mailey was never-the-less endorsed by the Australian Board of Control. It contained a number of ex Test Players and a potent collection of current players.
Signed by the squad of 12 - Phil Carney, E. Tolhurst, E. Rofe, Bill Ives, Fleetwood-Smith, Stan McCabe, Don Bradman, Vic Richardson, Arthur Mailey, Alan Kippax, Hansen Carter and R. Nutt.
An impressive 51 match tour in 76 days spread amongst 20 towns and cities in Canada and the USA - all with just 12 players! Jessie Bradman, newly married to Don, accompanied the side.
They met Babe Ruth at NY, Hollywood Stars in LA and legendary Australian sportsman Snowy Baker. Bradman the star, played 51 innings for 3,777 runs (at 102.1) Fleetwood-Smith took 238 wickets at an average of 7.5, McCabe 189 at 7.3and Mailey 203 at 8.6!
