IMAGE THUMBNAILS
DESCRIPTION

You now have the rare opportunity to secure not just one, but all three personal signatures of Sir Donald Bradman from the ‘Bradman Reflections Series’…The original release of the series, never went public given the unique nature and rarity of only 50 sets available in conjunction with The Bradman Museum….This is Edition Number 1.

 Bradman Reflections

The series features three superbly framed and presented images…

A Study In Blue - On The Front Foot - The Green Cloth Cap

Each framed edition being No 1 in a limited release of only 50 features the personal hand signed signature of Sir Donald Bradman.

The provenance is unquestionable – The personally signed images have been provided and authenticated by the Bradman Museum. The edition is independently certified by PricewaterhouseCoopers.

A Study In Blue

The first of these important pictorial chronicles remains something of a mystery as to its origin. Bradman stands in the doorway of some kind of outbuilding, leaning on his bat looking pensively forward. Smartly attired in his NSW blazer, it is believed to have been taken in Newcastle in either 1930 or 1931. The original photograph was discovered in the NSW cricket archives during research for the book, ‘Images of Bradman’, where it first appeared.

On The Front Foot

The second of these timeless images will be familiar to many. Taken on the practice wicket at Lord’s in June of 1930 during Bradman’s first tour to England, it shows him stepping forward to drive. Renowned Australian artist, d’Arcy Doyle, reproduced this in his acclaimed painting, “Sir Donald and His Trusty Blade”.

The Green Cloth Cap

This final historic snapshot is a celebrated portrait taken during the 1931-32 South African tour of Australia. With Baggy Green cap atop that famous head and collars turned up, the smiling Don looks off to his left – his amusement something we can only guess upon…

With regard to the significant historical characteristic of these classic images, they have been housed in a presentation custom-crafted to best exemplify their distinguished style. Due to major conservation requirements demanded by these artworks, they are protected by Tru Vue glass, which blocks out 97% of potentially damaging ultraviolet rays. With their clean, crisp mat board surrounds and burnished deep walnut timber frame, ‘Reflections’ will not look out of place in a boutique gallery, and will be the focal-point of any room in which you choose to display.

Each generously framed to measure 725mm x 585mm

With only one set available furthermore the edition is No 1, we urge you to act swiftly to avoid disappointment!
