This is an interesting cap which commemorated the combined Australian and New Zealand side, styled the Australasian team which played the Great Britain side. Hence the blue, maroon and black segments and the fern on the front with the Kangaroo. Again player unknown. (Black, maroon and blue Australasian RFL and Kangaroo and Silver fern 1910) - No makers label. Slight wear on the inside. It was not uncommon in this era for Australasian (i.e. Australia and new Zealand Teams) to combine. The 1908 and 1912 Olympic teams were a combination of both countries.
These items for sale are surplus to the Easts group requirements and are being offered for sale to Roosters members and collectors of Rugby League history. This is a one off opportunity to procure some very rare items of league memorabilia.
