DESCRIPTION
In 1965 Kev Crowe was the Test referee in the match played against the Springboks at Lang Park, Brisbane. In December 1965 he was invited to a black tie function in Sydney to present the 1965 Wallabies with their pockets. Included is the invitation from the ARU and event ticket (at the ANZAC Memorial Hall, North Sydney) . At this function Kev was presented with his Australian rugby blazer and tie, which are both included, as is the engrave Acme thunderer whistles engrave KJ Crowe 1965. A rare complete referees collection. Kev Crowe played club rugby in Brisbane and represented both QLD and Combined States. His refereeing and rugby administration career spanned five decades. He refereed 4 tests matches, with 21 international in total plus Schoolboys and University international; 625 game in total with 12 Grand Finals. A tribute dinner was held in his honour in 1982 and he has been awarded Life membership of the QLD Rugby and QLD Refs Association.
