“An exquisite, handcrafted limited edition sculpture by Wedgewood, England’s most celebrated porcelain maker.” This sculpture by Martin Evans is of Bradman in typical pose, acknowledging the applause. It was commissioned by Legends Genuine Memorabilia, in association with Wedgewood and The Bradman Museum”. This work took its inspiration from a specific event – the famous Third Test at Leeds in 1930. The sculpture depicts Sir Donald at the age of 21 and commemorates what has gone down in history as the greatest-ever run making performance – 309 in one day’s play”. Richard Mulvaney, Director of the Bradman Museum, stated “It is astonishing in its detail and likeness.
