Black New Zealand Maori jersey. Makers label now not visible to read - has frayed away. The jersey bears the Silver Fern and embroidered below that NZMT (New Zealand Maori Tour) The jersey was swapped with Australian Rugby player Trevor Allan. This jersey bears # 5 on back in white (no patch) Was probably Peter Smith's jersey - he was Vice Captain. Trevor played against the Maori five times on this tour -representing NSW twice, and Australia three times. All five matches he played in the centres, where he marked Smith in two of those games - Smith playing 2nd five-eighth.Jersey has faded but in very good condition. Just a few holes around the button holes.
