The framed jersey has no Great Britain badge. As there is no number visible we are unsure who wore it. Very confident this is the 1932 jersey as it has a gap in between the red and blue chevron.
This was the only Great Britain tour jersey that did. The other distinguishing feature is the fact the red and blue chevron's positions were also swapped for this tour. The 1932 Second test programme clear shows the colours, the gap and the positioning. The 1932 tour was a famous one, with the side led by Jim Sullivan. 1932 GB Lions Photo courtesy of Rugby Relics
These items for sale are surplus to the Easts group requirements and are being offered for sale to Roosters members and collectors of Rugby League history. This is a one off opportunity to procure some very rare items of league memorabilia.
