In November 2013 Sachin Tendulkar played his 200th and final test match.
Sachin and his teammates each worn a commemorative Indian test shirt during the match and each shirt carried the following embroidery under the Indian badge

The difference between each player’s shirt was his own test number being embroidered on the left sleeve. Sachin is # 187 and it is on the framed shirt.
Twelve commemorative shirts were made and presented to Sachin; one of these has been signed by Sachin and framed. It comes with a signed certificate stating it is one of just 12.
Please note; This was NOT worn by Sachin during the test. (BTW a shirt actually worn in the test by Sachin and identical to this commemorative shirt was auctioned in March 2015 at an Indian Head Injury Foundation charity auction. It sold for a staggering $127,637)
Sachin personally gave this shirt to the Donor, who had it framed.
The funds from this charity auction will be split between Sachin’s charity and the donor’s charity. More information about both follows

Apnalaya works with people living in some of the poorest slum communities in Mumbai to help them achieve a better quality of life. Our role is one of empowerment: of encouraging ordinary men and women to believe in themselves and in their abilities to change their lives for the better.
The Donor’s Charity – Mater Dei School, Ashgrove West
Mater Dei School, Ashgrove West, is a co-educational Catholic Primary School providing educational excellence for students from Prep to Year Six. The school belong to the Parish of St Johns Wood, The Gap. Part of funds raised will go to the Parents & Friends committee, which helps the school and parish.
This framed shirt is currently located in Brisbane. You will need to either collect there or it will be packed by a specialist supplier such as Pack n Send and then couriered to you. Quotes for packing and courier can be obtained separately. All risk in transport is borne by the purchaser.
Each auction will remain OPEN for 5 minutes after the last bid has been made.
