A very rare 1929-30 World tour Kangaroo jersey. Made by David Jones. Faded and no number. This jersey and that from the 1928 domestic test bears the Advance Australia Coast of Arms 9as worn my Australian cricketers( rather than there normal Commonwealth Coat of Arms. The 1928 Olympic team and the 1929 Wallabies Also wore this badge. The jersey also bears a seem across the midriff. This also the 'design' of the 1929 and 1930 Wallaby jerseys (also supplied by David Jones).
I have never seen a physical version of this jersey before in Museum or private collection, thus very rare. The 1929 Kangaroo jersey wore a white patch with number on it. I assume that was the case with there 1929-30 side as there is no number, nor stitching outline.
The photo of Bill Brogdan doesn't indicate it was his jersey but rather shows this rare design.
